At least the error message is better than it used to be. :o I think this is a version of the 'Missing Security Token' bug.
I'll hazard a guess, that you didn't check the "Remember Me?" checkbox when you logged in, and your session happened to time out while you were managing attachments. (It's always a good idea to check that checkbox. If you are using someone else's computer, however, be sure to log out when you are done at MacRumors, so nobody else can use your account later.)
Perhaps my guess is wrong. If this problem happens again, please see if my guess fits the circumstances or if you notice any pattern about when it happens.

Has anyone seen an increase in pop-up ads appearing while using safari with the bop-up blocker on.
This is driving me crazy.
Does anyone know of a reliable pop-up blocker plugin?

I'd say illustration and if you're looking for a possible source, that looks very much like David Lanham's (dlanham.com) style.

i think that you should be fine getting an emac, its a good machine and will be comparable in performance to your ibook due to similar (albeit not identical) specs. up the ram if you want to.
i understand your problem with the moving of the ibook, but to put your mind to rest, it is designed to be put up with certain stresses (whithin reason):D so it can survive a short trip in a backpack everyday, you will probably see mostly physical wear and tear, and no hardware damage (unless you drop it).
many would be inclined to say: what use is a portable if you dont use its portability?
in a matter of weeks i shall be carrying my powerbook around my new campus, but i did buy a special bag for it so im not that worried about it getting damaged. UNDUE CARE IS NEEDED!
if you are still paranoid, buy yourself a good protective case/bag (not a skintight sleeve).
or if you are still worried, go with the imac.
hope i have been a help

Cool, so the answer is 'probably'. :) I'd be interested to know if anyone who has one can verify.
At least mine doesn't:
imac:~ MPE$ sudo ifconfig en0 mtu 9000
ifconfig: ioctl (set mtu): Invalid argument

Most. Ridiculous. Comment. Ever.
Please do tell me where I claimed or even vaguely referred to my ability to create something like Watson.
I even mentioned I was quite impressed by the computational power of Watson, but is Watson smart? Not at all.
Judging from your inane comment it's maybe as smart as you, but then again, you wouldn't possess the vast database of knowledge Watson has.
It's like with Deep Blue and chess. Maybe a rematch where Deep Blue was restricted to say, thinking 200 moves ahead, like the best human chess players do would be a more realistic match. Being able to crush a million moves ahead and knowing the exact statistical chance of each move is not "intelligence".
Matches against computers currently have not much to do with "intelligence" on the machine side, but more with pure raw statistics. Thats why Watson made many stupid, stupid mistakes.
Of course a computer isn't smart, it's not human. And I'm sure that Watson has far more knowledge in his servers than I ever will. If you want to read ridiculous comments, check out the other forums here.

i know that will work for another drive, but doesnt it read Partitions differently?
Well, it's just a path you put in the netinfo, so as long as your partition is mounted somewhere in the directory tree, it should work. Though admittedly I am using a completely separate drive.

Look how well it runs solitare and wordpad! No noticable delay! At 1.4 ghz! For only $23. I'll believe it when someone purchases it and shows us it actually works. CherryOS anyone?

How about a Classic that's a little smaller, a little thinner, with a screen that goes mostly edge to edge (so larger) and the hard drive replaced with maybe 4 flash chips so they can give it 128GB without such a high cost. Flash storage would use much less power than the hard drive too, so the battery could get smaller while even delivering better battery life.

Wow Great piece Job Bio Ware. This Gives I'd about 2hrs of Game play and does a good job of explaining what happens after the first with Sheppard the Story fits in good to, it does enough to fill in the first and leaves you wanting for 3 as well. I would give this a 4/5 great game play and price you cant beat epecailly for the last overpriced stolen memory add on.

Count me in! I'm still thinking about what Apple store to head to though, I usually try to avoid the Fashion Valley one because it's always so crowded there. I'll probably end up a Fashion though. I'll be in line by 3 or 4 depending on how long the line is. :)

I don't have a computer that can run iChat A/V, but bear in mind that it is still Betaware, so bugs are to be expected.

You could try the approach mentioned there. Install OSX to the external, make that the boot drive and try boot camp from there.
I doubt it will work, but you have little to lose.

Question about ethics:
If i originally posted it for $120 shipped but get a higher offer shortly after the first "dibs" (fairly substantial) is it faux pas to sell to the higher bidder?
