You should respect a specific format like .pdf or .eps rather than a broad category like "vector."
For clients, yes. But anyone who knows anything about the industry knows what vector means. EPS, PDF, and the like, are just formats for a specific platform. They are still vector based if they are created that way.

Hi Guys,
I see from everywhere on the net that the world still awaits for a carrier unlock on the bb 4.10.01 and understand that my iPhone 4 is doomed just because it is now with 4.3.2 and non-d'gradable due to Apple not signing the 4.3.1, etc.
Does anyone know when to expect for a workaround to the "no service" issue considering the fact that bb 4.10.01 is still unlockable!!!
Thanks,
:apple:man1ac:apple:

Okay, after using it for a little while, the only real complaint I have is that the Personal Toolbar Folder items show up in a rather small font size that looks cruder than it should.
You mean the contexual menu that pops up? Unfortunately, I don't think I can edit the font size. The default theme is the same size. The beauties of a non-native browser...
@mkrishnan:
You can actually shrink the main toolbar icons to smaller so that the toolbar is safari size by "right clicking" on the toolbar and clicking customize. But as luck would have it, the small version of my toolbar buttons are clud still. It's on my to do list before the theme reaches 1.0.

This MacOs-becoming-iOS fear thing is getting out of your hands people!
Haha, well I think it's a valid concern!! I mean I would hope that Apple wouldn't do that to us, but honestly I wouldn't be too surprised.
A HUGE part of Lion is the OS doing the multitasking so we don't have to think about it. That's why apple took away the little light below the apps. There is no "open" or "close".
Although, I suppose another thing about Lion is that every state gets saved. So if a window or safari tab were to close, then hypothetically it would open back exactly how it was??
I would assume that any open windows stay open (and no safari refreshing!) but can any of you Lioners out there confirm this?

bida, bida, bida-da-dum....boo!
I've got as far as the checkout at Apple's online store before remembering that I can't remember the last time I would've had a use for it. If I take the plunge it'll mean I've got to find time to do some exercise then I think would the money be better spent on a rowing machine? But I'm not going to use that unless I've got an iPod to listen to.
So you can hear the voices too, at least that makes me feel better.
Yes, LOUD voices...
I don't freaking need the thing. I have got to have it.
Maybe I should see how long I can go before I go mental.

The Mac Pro will be updated this year.
The chips they can use are due to release in Q4 of this year, but actually having a system ready, very likely won't happen until next year as they need time to manufacture them.
The biggest surprise would be if it DIDN'T have a thunderbolt port.
Intel wants TB implementations to carry both data and video signals in order to avoid confusion (at least that's the way I read information they've made public). From a technical POV, it's possible to do this in a desktop (either use an edge connector such as what's used for an SLI bridge, or include the TB chip on the graphcis card).
Whether this will happen or not, will depend primarily on costs (proprietary solutions tend to cost more than those based on open standards). It's possible, but would mean additional parts, when Apple tends to prefer to keep to the chipset and ICH (FireWire has been thier one exception, and they'll follow suite with TB, given thier software development work they've put in). But if the costs are too high in their opine, they may skip it this go around.
We'll have to wait and see to be sure.

Hello,
I have just purchased an imac OS 10.6.7 and am trying to get away from my PC
Having a problem with Printers (amongst other things).
Following how to connect to a network printer - but when asked for the ip address - which computer am I looking for and where would I find the ip address.
Any clues would be much appreciated.

Step one would be to download and run TinyUmbrella, this will check to see just what the previous owner did. If he never saved SHSH Blobs then your only option would be to upgrade to 4.3. There is no real need to jailbreak first.
Ahh, no previous owner as this is brand new iPad on 3.2, so I don't think any SHSH was saved :(
So I am out of luck then to go to 4.2? I pretty much MUST go to 4.3 if I want to upgrade my firmware at all?

I have several images in a folder, I know how to access the folder, I just need to display these images in an IKImageBrowserView, so I guess a better question would be:
How do I display a folder of images in an IKImageBrowserView?
Thanks
You're really going to want to study the ImageBrowser sample code. It doesn't do exactly what you want, in that you won't be able to just copy'n'paste that code into your's. But it does contain all the code you need.
You will be able to just pass on the paths to IKImageBrowserView and it will load the images for you. You won't have to load the images yourself. But you can't just give an array of strings to IKImageBrowserView.
Your controller will act as the immediate data source and store the NSArray as ivar and/or property. It will respond to the numberOfItemsInImageBrowser: and imageBrowser:itemAtIndex: messages.
But it won't pass on NSString objects directly to IKImageBrowserView. Instead it will wrap the string in a custom class so IKImageBrowserView which implementes the required IKImageBrowserItem protocol. This custom class will tell IKImageBrowserView that it's being given paths to images and not images themselves. See the myImageObject class in the ImageBrowser sample code for how the wrapper class could be implemented.
EDIT: You can't set the dataSource of an IKImageBrowserView to be an NSArray of anything (unless you implement a category as sydde thought of). The data source must at least respond to the required messages of the IKImageBrowserDataSource informal protocol.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The entrydoor is in the top right corner, and there is a SLIDING door in the bottom right corner, not a window. Stupid me forgot to mention that. Also, on the right wall as soon as you walk in, there is a double door closet, so nothing can go there. Like the idea Snow, but its back to the drawing board lol.Option 6 should still work, just keep the big dresser and brown dresser next to each other like they are now. But move the desk, nightstand and bed as suggested. Right now you're furniture is all lined up like Animal Crossing. ;)
So, do you have TWO double door closets? Can you make those closets more useful so you can ditch one of the dressers in your room? I got these awesome closet organizers for my family which gives us nice, modern looking, metal drawers, hanging rods, etc. so our closets hold a ton. Enough even for my teenager. ;) This way I eliminated dressers in our rooms entirely so that we have more space. I'd see about doing that with at least one of your closets. That way you could store at least a dresser's worth of clothing in one and still have room for hanging stuff.
There's also option 7 - start with 1 as basis:
